FAMILY SERVICES
Your Questions. . . . Answered!
EBDI provides a comprehensive family services program to residents who are impacted by the EBDI redevelopment project. EBDI's family services program provides assistance to residents throughout their relocation process primarily in the service areas of housing stability, which includes our legal services program, workforce development, health, financial literacy, children's needs and civic engagement. EBDI also focuses special attention on residents who are seniors, ex-offenders and disabled.
EBDI will provide each household that is being relocated with a Family Advocate. Family Advocates help coordinate the household's relocation process while also providing case management services. Once the relocation process begins, you will receive more information about your assisgned Family Advocate. In the meantime, EBDI does have a number of special programs that are available now to all residents.
For instance, each Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm residents can come to the Community Resource Center (located at 1731 E. Chase Street, Baltimore, MD 21213) to participate in Workforce Wednesdays. You will get access to a job readiness coach, training programs, and job opportunities. In addition, should you need any other assistance you can get referred to the appropriate city agency or service provider for assistance.
