In
creating our Preferred Lenders list, EBDI carefully
chose each lender based upon a number of criteria
outlined in our lender application. We conferred with
the Community Law Center and the Anti- Predatory Lending
Task Force to assist in determining the criteria. In
addition to meeting minimum federal regulatory
guidelines, EBDI required the lenders to provide a
uniform number of services to the clients as well as
agree to abide by EBDI’s
Principles of Preferred
Lenders.
