Family Advocate Support Services

In working to strengthen the community, EBDI is committed to providing necessary support services to families who live in the area and to those who relocated as part of the project. Our Family Advocate Program Manager works closely with residents and former residents, serving as a trusted point of contact between the community and EBDI.

EBDI's Family Advocate works with residents to:

  • Enroll in workforce development programs
  • Find help paying utility bills
  • Gain access to health care, and mental health and substance abuse treatment
  • Avoid foreclosure or eviction
  • File for homeowner and other tax credits
  • Receive financial, budgeting and credit counseling

To obtain additional information regarding any of these services, please contact Alphonso Barney at 410-234-0660, ext. 287.
