In an effort to promote the use of local, minority, and women-owned firms in EBDI-related projects, EBDI’s Economic Inclusion Team has developed a Local Vendor Directory that contractors, who are bidding on work in the EBDI footprint, can use as a resource to identify firms to help them meet EBDI’s economic inclusion goals.

EBDI was excited to host the second annual Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards for Community Impact in Eager Park in December.

Congratulations and thank you to all 15 of our awardees. We look forward to recognizing even more community and business leaders in 2024.

Special thanks to 16 on the Park for hosting us; to our sponsors, Fulton Bank and Anne Riggle, for making this event possible; and to Doni Glover with BMORENews.com for creating this amazing opportunity for change-makers all across the country. We’d like to specially recognize Josh Manns with Legacy Awards & Recognition for carrying on his father’s legacy and producing the awards for us.

We also thank our elected officials (and their representatives) for attending and helping to make this an even more special occasion - U. S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen, Del. Stephanie Smith, Del. Caylin Young,  Baltimore City Council President Nick J. Mosby, Councilman Robert Stokes and Councilman Antonio Glover.

Lastly, thanks to everyone who came out to support!
