In an effort to better understand the digital equity needs of our residents, EBDI recently partnered with Microsoft Airband to analyze the digital equity gaps and opportunities within the Eager Park project area.

Working in partnership with East Baltimore community organizations, which played a key role in gathering and submitting electronic and hard-copy survey responses from the residents they serve, we surveyed 178 residents.

This effort has enabled us to develop a blueprint for achieving digital equity in our project area as it relates to affordable housing, local retail and small business capacity building, workforce development, education and healthcare.

Our next step is to develop a strategy to implement solutions to address the findings and meet the needs of the Eager Park community.

We are excited to make progress in closing the digital divide for our residents and look forward to sharing with you our implementation strategy when it is complete. If you have any questions or feedback, please send us a note at info@ebdi.org.
